I wasn’t sure what was in the box, but as soon as I saw it I decided to keep it a secret. I had been in the cool bush behind the house in Samoa kicking the ball when it disappear into a forest. When I went in I saw a humongous golden chest sitting on top of some old stone steps. I saw a rainbow coloured light shining up from the chest and through the trees. I looked in awe at it. I slowly walked up the steps and I lifted the lid. I couldn’t believe what I saw inside!!!!
This is my writing from the last few weeks. I am really proud of it.

This is really good writing, probably your best writing this year! I liked your use of vocabulary. I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS INSIDE!!!
